Chi Alpha Campus Ministries is a Christian campus ministry on universities throughout the United States and around the world. We are a movement of college-age men and women earnestly following Jesus. We are not a fraternity or sorority. We invite everyone to be a part, regardless of background.

We meet on campus in groups of varying size and style. These gatherings are informal, infused with music and interaction, and cover topics from relationships to the nature of truth. These meetings are opportunities for students to meet God, each other, and the needs of the community.

Our Name

In the Bible, the Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 5:20, "We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God." Inspired by this verse we chose the phrase "christou apostoloi," meaning "Christ's sent ones," to represent who we are. The Greek letters Chi (X) and Alpha (A) are the initials of this phrase, which reminds us that we should live to reflect Jesus' life.

Vision Statement
We see a spirit-empowered, diverse community of believers on university campuses, declaring in word and lifestyle their faith in Jesus Christ, equipped to fulfill their purpose in God?s global plan.

Mission Statement
We will reconcile students to Christ, transforming the university, the marketplace and the world. We will accomplish this by creating a Spirit-empowered community reflecting our philosophy of ministry and core values.

XA Live
XA live is out weekly night of worship and the word. We meet for a powerful time with the lord every thursday at 8pm in the humanities buildings room 170. come on out for this exciting time to connect with friends and God.

	Mason Corwin - Mason Corwin pioneered Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at the University of South Alabama. He has been our lead pastor for seven years come August 1st. His passion is to multiply the church, prophecy the Word, unify the body, and glorify the King of Kings. Chi Alpha is very excited about the 100 plus nations that are represented in our back yard. This ministry exists to raise up ministers and oversee ministries that will impact our world with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. XA USA has commited to go on a missions trip over seas every year.So far, we have been to eight countries. Mason travels extensively as an Evangalist. Mason has a beautiful eight year old daughter named Bethany.

	Tommy & Shelley Barko - Tommy and his wife, Shelley, have literally been with Chi Alpha since day one. They are on staff as Campus Missionary Assistants to Mason and Leigh. They are our Pastors of Worship and Multimedia. This couple faithfully brings us into the presence of God weekly with prophetic worship and cutting edge relevance. Shelley is our Myspace coordinator. Tommy and Shelley are tremendously gifted in God and God is using them in a powerful way to minister to the students on campus.

	Joshua & Danielle Brunette - Joshua moved from Wisconsin to this ministry to be raised up as a prophetic evangelist. He has been with us for over three years. In that time he meet Danielle at his job and invited her to Chi Alpha, and one night she came to a revival service where Mason was speaking in Mississippi. She was filled with the holy spirit that night and has been on fire for God for quite some time. August 5, 2006 they were married and God confirmed their call to ministry by adding 15 souls during the ceremony. Joshua and Danielle are our Pastors of Prayer and Evangelism and have been our Campus Missionary Assistants for the last year.

	Amber Haney - Amber Haney serves Chi Alpha as our President and the overseer of our life groups. She also has one of the most dynamic female bible studies on campus. She is a great leader and brings a lot of joy to XA.

	Kevin Class: Junior Age: 22 Major: Business Goals: To be the brightest light in the darkest world. What he loves about XA: "It's fun and it's all about Jesus." Kevin is our assistant worship leader and a life group leader.

	Jordan Class: Sophomore Age: 19 Major: Social Work Goals: Use her gifts for God. Become a missionary. Graduate from USA. What she loves about XA: "The fellowship, worship, Mason's messages and the way the Holy Spirit always shows up." Jordan is a co life group leader, business administrator, and she also writes for XA newsletter "The Cornerstone"

	Trey Class: High Age: 29 Major: Ordained Minister with AG Goals: To win the world for Jesus What he loves about XA: "Anyone can come, the presence of God is strong, and there are no boundaries." Trey is a life group leader.

	Aaron Class: Freshman Age: 23 Major: Theology Goals: Author and Evangelist What he loves about XA: "The sincerity of XA." Aaron is a life group leader and a writer for XA newsletter "The Cornerstone".

	James Class: N/A Age: 23 Major: N/A Goals: To be a man of God. What he loves about XA: "The music and Jokes." James is the XA Webmaster, on the Sound Crew, and is a Life Group Leader.

	Brad Class: N/A Age: 30 Major: N/A Goals: "Serve Ch Alpha to the best of my ability." What he loves about XA: " Mason, Leigh, and Bethany Corwin." Brad is Mason's personal Assistant.

	April Class: Junior Age: 21 Major: Biomedical Science Goals: To honor God in all I do. To get married and have a big family. Graduate with academic honors. To fulfill Gods purpose in my life through medical missions and prophetic healing. What she loves about XA: "Spirit-led, spirit-filled word and worship. And the cool people." April is the Email Coordinator.

	Helen Class: Junior Age: 24 Major: Secondary Education and History Goals: "To become a high school teacher and influence our youth in a Godly way." What he loves about XA: " The comradery."

	Jeremy Class: N/A Age: 18 Major: N/A Goals: "To go into full time ministry, restore unity to the body of Christ, and see people set free from the things that prevent them from being all God has called them to be ." What he loves about XA: " I love the freedom to grow in ministry and the training to step into being all God has called us to be." Jeremy is on the Sound Crew.

	Jesse Class: Freshman Age: 19 Major: Computer Science Goals: "To finish school." What he loves about XA: " The refreshing that comes from the presence of God and the opportunity to grow spiritually." Jesse is James' Life Group Assistant.
	shawn Class:N/A Age: 28 Major:N/A Goals:to become a missionary ." What he loves about XA: "To experience Gods love and to share His love to everyone I encounter through this ministry."
